To counterbalance the stakes of globalization and generalized competition, territories are compelled to build and manage their territorial attractiveness which is, often, driven by a comparative or even a differentiating advantage.Aware of these issues, the actors of the city of Rabat have undertaken territorialized actions.Indeed, the built Hiking Socks fabric of this city is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.In addition, the city has adopted an integrated urban development program.
This article aims to examine the reconciliation between the heritage sword hanger status of the city and the urban projects undertaken within the framework of this program.The analysis is based on a documentary study.
